Lee A Michaelis, D.D.S...
... is a graduate of Indiana University School Of Dentistry. He opened his
private practice in 1986. Dr. Michaelis keeps up with the latest developments
in dentistry by attending several continuing education seminars a year. He
has acquired credits and recognition in the areas of cosmetic bonding, root
canal therapy, infection control, TMJ dysfunction, periodontal disease, and
pathologies of the mouth, just to name a few. Dr. Michaelis is a lifetime
resident of the Indianapolis area and now resides in Carmel with his wife and
three children.  Having attended IU for both undergraduate and dental
school, he is an enthusiastic fan of the Hoosiers and can be seen at many of
the home football games. He's also an avid golfer and enjoys the many public
courses that central Indiana has to offer.

...is our hygienist and is the first to see you at your check-up appointment.
She will clean, polish, take any needed x-rays, and instruct you on proper
hygiene techniques. Patty graduated from the Indiana University School of
Dentistry’s Dental Hygiene Program and was presented with the Golden
Scaler award for her excellent achievements in clinical studies. Patty
continues to expand her knowledge of dental hygiene by attending several
specialized seminars and continuing education classes each year. Patty grew
up in Westfield and still resides there with her husband, Jay, and two sons,
Andy and Jonny. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling in
her spare time.
...is our dental assistant. She started in the dental profession in 1986 and
has been with us since 1996. Kammy is a graduate of Pendleton Heights
High School and attended I.U.P.U.I. for Dental Assisting. During your visit
to our office, Kammy can answer any questions you may have about your
treatment. She works directly with Dr. Michaelis to ensure that you receive
the best care and that you are as comfortable as possible. Kammy resides
in Fortville, Indiana with her husband, Ben, and daughters, Aleah and
Kristin. In her spare time, Kammy enjoys spending time with her family,
scrap booking, and volunteering at the Hope House Homeless Shelter.
... Heads up our front desk.  When you call the office, she is usually the
person who will assist you to make your appointments, manage your
account, or help you get the information you need. She has many years of
experience dealing with insurance companies and can help you to
maximize your dental benefits. Dawn grew up on Indy's north side and
graduated from Broad Ripple High School (Go Rockets!). She attended
I.U.P.U.I. and completed the Dental Assisting Program at P.C.I.  Dawn now
lives in Carmel with her husband and three children. In addition to her
many crafting and artistic endeavors, Dawn loves to support our local
community theater by attending shows and volunteering.
